Executive Team

Sabrina Houser
Chief Executive Officer

Sabrina has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 1996 and initially became involved with the organization as a Big Sister. “I found the mission of the agency very compelling,” she says. That early volunteer experience led her to seek a job with Big Brothers Big Sisters, which has become a career. “Helping children succeed in school, at home and in their communities has such a profound impact on lives, and no mentoring organization does it better than Big Brothers Big Sisters".  Sabrina has a strong background in program management, grant development and reporting, not-for-profit management and fundraising. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from SUNY Geneseo, and currently resides in Saratoga Springs with her loving family.  Sabrina can be reached at Sabrina@bbbscr.org or x. 19.

 

 
Alex Krolikowski

Program Director 

Alex holds degrees in Psychology and Communication from SUNY Brockport and has recently completed his Master's in Educational Psychology and Methodology at the University at Albany, SUNY. Additionally, he has gained a wealth of experience working with youth through a preschool program for students with developmental disabilities, an Autism Respite Program, and a one year supervised School Psychology practicum placement in Saratoga County. He has e also taught a course on Positive Youth Development to junior and senior undergraduates at the University at Albany for two semesters. These experiences hve helped him develop a strong commitment to supporting the growth and development of youth of all ages. Alex can be reached at alex@bbbscr.org or x. 15. 


Anne Morrill
Development Associate

While Anne is from upstate NY, she left the east coast to pursue her MA in Anthropology at Portland State University in Oregon. Upon graduating, Anne stayed in Portland to pursue her growing passion for nonprofit work and social justice issues. Anne is very excited to be back in the Capital Region and to bring her background in grant writing and policy work to promote programs that will positively affect the lives of youth in her community.  Anne can be reached at annemorrill@bbbscr.org or x. 22.


Patience Pechette
Human Resources Manager

Patience has a degree in Secondary Education and History. She spent 6 years teaching high school Social Studies.  As the Rensselaer County Coordinator of the Reality Check program, she worked with youth to education the community on corporate tobacco's marketing strategies.  Currently she works here at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office as our office manager and human resources specialist.   Patience was a former little and attributes her motivation to go to college to the relationship she developed with her Big Sister.

Erica Stoeckeler
Event Planner

Originally from Ulster County of the Hudson Valley, Erica has recently relocated to the downtown Albany area of the Capital Region. Erica holds a BA in Broadcast/Journalism from the College at Brockport; SUNY and plans to continue her education and earn a MA in Public Administration. Prior to joining the team at BBBSCR Erica was the Assistant to Volunteer Services at Bethel Woods Center for the arts, and is excited to bring her passion for the visual arts to create fun and memorable special events. Erica can be reached at erica@bbbscr.org or x. 21.

Ryan Hoagland
Community-Based Manager

Ryan holds a BA in Psychology and History from Siena College in Loudonville, NY.  Ryan plans on continuing her education to earn a MA in Counseling Psychology.  Prior to working at BBBSCR, Ryan worked as a Housing Counselor for first-time homebuyers.  Ryan also worked as a Family Development Specialist for over 90 families in the Head Start program.  Ryan's experiences working with individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds helps her to support and guide the Enrollment and Match Support teams to ensure strong, long-lasting matches between Bigs & Littles. Site-Based Manager

Jamie holds a BA degree in Business Administration from SUNY Potsdam.  She has been a big sister since 2009 and has served on our event planning committees and participated in numerous fundraising campaigns.  "Being a big sister has been an incredibly rewarding experience.  By participating in event committees and working on fundraisers, I was able to work with the BBBSCR staff more closely and witness their dedication and passion for the mission.  The more involved with the agency I became, the more involved I wanted to be."  Prior to becoming our Site-Based Program Manager, she worked as an Account Manager for the Credit Union Association for 6 years.
