Executive Team

Sabrina Houser
Chief Executive Officer

Sabrina has been with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 1996 and initially became involved with the organization as a Big Sister. “I found the mission of the agency very compelling,” she says. That early volunteer experience led her to seek a job with Big Brothers Big Sisters, which has become a career. “Helping children succeed in school, at home and in their communities has such a profound impact on lives, and no mentoring organization does it better than Big Brothers Big Sisters".  Sabrina has a strong background in program management, grant development and reporting, not-for-profit management and fundraising. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from SUNY Geneseo, and currently resides in Saratoga Springs with her loving family.  Sabrina can be reached at Sabrina@bbbscr.org or x. 19.


Alex Krolikowski

Program Director 

Alex holds degrees in Psychology and Communication from SUNY Brockport and has recently completed his Master's in Educational Psychology and Methodology at the University at Albany, SUNY. Additionally, he has gained a wealth of experience working with youth through a preschool program for students with developmental disabilities, an Autism Respite Program, and a one year supervised School Psychology practicum placement in Saratoga County. He has e also taught a course on Positive Youth Development to junior and senior undergraduates at the University at Albany for two semesters. These experiences have helped him develop a strong commitment to supporting the growth and development of youth of all ages. Alex can be reached at alex@bbbscr.org or x. 15. 

Anne Morrill
Associate Director of Development

Over the past year and a half, Anne has been the Development Associate with Big Brothers Big Sisters, responsible for increasing individual giving among lower level donors. During that time, Anne successfully launched two individual giving campaigns to help us match over 45 Littles throughout the Capital Region. In her new role, as Associate Director of Development, Anne will lead the fundraising efforts across both individual giving and special events to support BBBSCR's mentoring programs. Anne has over 4 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and holds a MA in Anthropology from Portland State University.  Anne can be reached at annemorrill@bbbscr.org or x. 22.

Patience Pechette
Human Resources Manager

Patience has a degree in Secondary Education and History. She spent 6 years teaching high school Social Studies.  As the Rensselaer County Coordinator of the Reality Check program, she worked with youth to education the community on corporate tobacco's marketing strategies.  Currently she works here at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office as our office manager and human resources specialist.   Patience was a former little and attributes her motivation to go to college to the relationship she developed with her Big Sister.

Geraldine Gutierrez 
Community-Based Manager

Geraldine studied psychology as an undergraduate at the University at Albany. Her life experiences, mentors and educators afforded her a deep understanding of intersectionality and social justice issues which lead her to pursue a Master’s in Social Work at her alma mater. Geraldine has served as a social worker in schools and mental health programs. She has served families as a child support specialist and educator. She understands deeply that a collective effort and lots of love is necessary to create positive outcomes within the lives of youth. This lead her to Big Brothers Big Sisters. The organization and its dedicated volunteers envision success for every child, no matter what their background or circumstances. As a manager for the Community-based program, she looks forward to being a positive contributor to the agency’s mission and the lives of the children we serve.  Geraldine can be reached at geraldinegutierrez@bbbscr.org or x. 20.

Site-Based Manager

Jamie holds a BA degree in Business Administration from SUNY Potsdam.  She has been a big sister since 2009 and has served on our event planning committees and participated in numerous fundraising campaigns.  "Being a big sister has been an incredibly rewarding experience.  By participating in event committees and working on fundraisers, I was able to work with the BBBSCR staff more closely and witness their dedication and passion for the mission.  The more involved with the agency I became, the more involved I wanted to be."  Prior to becoming our Site-Based Program Manager, she worked as an Account Manager for the Credit Union Association for 6 years. She comes to us with a strong sales background and is excited to contribute her experience and skills to promote our Site-Based Programs. Jamie can be reached at Jamiestafford@bbbscr.org or x. 17.
